Rodri will be in and out all season, and won't hit his new level until next year.
If he didn't play for City I'd say that was a damn shame because he was a hell of a player before the injury, but he's going to be a bit less, at least for this season. And I can't help thinking they've rushed him back too, when he probably could have done with a bit more recovery time.

Cherki out for 2 months as well
I've been saying for what feels like years : they're done. Average players replaced super stars.
Moyes has them playing good football, just like he did before he left. He is a good coach and was very good just before he left them the last time.
I do not think we will enjoy playing them this year.
As opposed to every other year when it's all bunny rabbits and rainbows, like...? 😉

He was, but I doubt that he'd play for them

I thought it was the other way around - after not originally being called up by France he made himself available for Cameroon, but their manager said he didn't want to be anyone's second choice.
Didn't read anything about him selecting Cameroon. They'd welcome him with open arms in that case.
It's just sour grapes from their manager.
