Other EPL week 5 games 20 - 21 Sep

Saka looks unfit to me. Didn't look like he was keen to make any bursts forward. He was drifting inwards more and more as the game got on.

Citeh's 5-3-2 was really just 5-3-2 in name... with a zero striker lineup, it was more 5-5-0 in form. Strange that Haaland was taken off, totally lost any attacking potential after that.

Any result bar an Arsenal win was good for us today, so I'll gladly take this.

The first one was on Collins I think, for letting the ball bounce
Collins played a part in all 3 and the disallowed goal. First time I've really noticed him playing and couldn't believe how bad he was considering he was getting linked with the top 4 for most of the summer.

….
9 City 5 7 +4
..
11 United 5 7 -2

Too say I’m a happy bunny is more than a little of an understatement
We need to get on top of goal difference. This winning every game business will backfire!

Interesting comments from Walcott & Given on Arsenal - "played like they didn't know each other", "despite the stats didn't dominate", "look at the lack of shots, 12 (3)", "they got lucky today".

Also Neville saying the Arsenal goal was offside and VAR a disgrace for not checking? True?

Not sure about that.

Arsenal played the typical left to right, right to left passing with no penetration and hope Saka does something special but he didn't. City was fairly comfortable until the 92nd mins where they pushed so high up the pitch for no reason and got punished for it.

Martinelli was comfortably onside based on the replays.

So you're agreeing with them then.

Thanks for clearing up the offside.
