Other EPL week 6 matches Sept 27-29th

Ah ffs. Should Pope have done better there or was he too wrong footed?

Newcastle should have probably had a pen as well

That’s a huge win for them. They’d often have bottles that bit pushed and got it. That will buy them belief.

How was that not a penalty to Newcastle before their second? Sure it takes a slight deflection off the player, but his arms sticking right up in the air and blocks a shot / cross??

The slightest of defections too…he was literally lying on the floor with his arm at 90 degrees pointing at the sky…the most blatant handball ever

I can't understand why more of a fuss isn't being made about it, unless I've missed something, it's an absolute howler by VAR.

Yes it not like we had the ball in and around their box. We lost the battle with handling their counters. When we did have the ball first half it was all slow slow slow slow give it away turn and run.

We were fucking muck in transition, had 2 wingers who really couldn't be arsed being wingers, a striker massively off fitness/wavelength, and a centre back who looked terrified of the ball.

Ekitike doesn't fix all those issues.

Didn’t make our defence soft did he?

Front 3 pressing is also important and having an unfit Isak up front for 70 minutes put our defence under pressure. I’m not blaming everything on Ekitike, but I do think his unexpected absence scrambled the manager’s plans and in the end was just one problem too many.

That West Ham Left Back... Diouf...very good, also we could do with a player like Summerville on the left...

I turned off the blue shite game when it went 1-0 thinking West Ham would collapse. That was a nice surprise.

So this is Nuno's fourth Prem club, and all four are still in the Prem, with players he's managed before?
I think this is unprecedented, especially in such a short time span.

West Ham despite being shit last season still beat Arsenal last season at the Emirates. So I have hope for them in their next game against Arsenal.
Nuno has 5 days to stop them being the shittest at defending set pieces to prepare them for the best at taking them.
