So many of their goals from free kicks in the channel are for dirty dives, it’s clearly a tactic to place refs. Makes it even sweeter when this is how they concede.

Like a foot goes over the ball and into the player is a red card just once when it happened to them. Or a second yellow for a player kicking himself. Oh wait, that was Curtis Jones and Jota.

I rate Saliba and that's why I think it's a pen, because I don't see him mistiming an intervention like that by accident. The Arse get up to all sorts in both areas - most of the goals Gabriel gets from corners result from him pushing his marker in the back on the blind side of the ref for example.

Yeah, it's a nonsense. Getting a touch on the ball has long since been abandoned as making any level of contact legitimate. Reckless following through etc. not only leads to a foul but usually a card of some description too.
Have a heart mate! They've all but lost their will to live watching their team this season - got to have an escape clause. That's all they've got left, moan about everything and blame it for losing the league this season. It's a conspiracy !

I'd say it's harsh because it's uncommon. Usually you'd argue a player heading a ball wasn't in control of possession; but Pedro flicked it up to head it on, so he did have possession. Saliba mistimed and clatters in to him. If it was shoulder to shoulder, leg to leg etc there wouldn't be this level of dissection over it. It's just because it's an odd one
