Playing Raya is guaranteed loss in modern day penalties where players just take it a tad slow and wait for you to dive, and we have the biggest idiot who dives at the start of a player run up
Can I request an injection into my veins for Trent’s goal please on the Arsenal forums,
LOads - they closed all Liverpool related threads once the final whistle wentAny salty tears from Red Cafe?
They have a really decent good young team, and the play some good stuff no doubt about it, but nobody in their right mind would have thought they were actually gonna beat City these last 2 seasons... and they fucking didn't... And I might add that they were nowhere near as good as our second place efforts in terms of points or in terms of out and out quality. The gap to us 15. Their gap to 10th placed Fulham is 13. Challengers??? Are they fuck.
These are like Schrödinger's titles, where they count and don't count at the same time depending on which ones are being counted. United's 20 count, but Liverpool's don't. Because quantum physics or something.![]()

Why Manchester United still is the greatest football club in England
I'm not gonna spend too much time talking about how 20 is in fact not more than 20 (!). Nor that one quarter of Liverpool's title wins are ancient history in football terms (before 1950). Nor that in the PL era, which is the most competitive, professional and impressive, the scoreboard says 13-2...www.redcafe.net

Trophies per season Bob pisses all over him.I'll see that cnut's Ferguson and raise him Bob Paisley.
What a sh1t league campaign, need to raise our game next season. Rise above this PGMOL BS! I dont want to hear any excuses next season. Nadddaaa!
Let's see if UCL can save this disastrous season in PL where we bottled every chance to short the distance with Liverpool. They never were pressured by us and now we have to play against them already crown.
Arteta is the top 3 most paid manager in football world, he better win something because it's not justified a rookie that has won nothing but one FA cup wins that much.
We couldn’t maintain last seasons levels, but the injuries just did kill any chance we had.
Slot himself said the key to their success was keeping the players as fit as possible, then the natural ability comes through.
He’s a top manager, does this simple things so well.
He hasn’t won the last 7 semi final matches he played nor has his team scored from open play.
But in any case forest Chelsea and Newcastle Chelsea play each other, so we should be safe for top 5
Really poor if we finish 4th and get knocked out next week tho.
Our fanbase being so annoyed over potential losing second, seemingly more than losing either of the title races with City...
Sums up how the club just doesn't have that killer mentality anymore, tbh.
Trophies matter, not limping over a line to 2nd ahead of a crap City ffs!
Luckily the league is absolute ****e this season or top 4 would definitely be under threat.
Liverpool then Newcastle...May need to win at Southampton last day for cl football....don't trust them to even do that
I think we lose at Liverpool and City win in their game so they'd be on the same points as us after GW 36 but we would be ahead on GD.
Newcastle play Chelsea and if they beat Brighton tomorrow I can see them going above us, then of course we play Newcastle at home which is huge. Even if we draw City then will likely go above us and we would actually be 4th.
Chelsea have Liverpool and United, can see them getting 4 points and if my Newcastle prediction comes around then Chelsea would be on 64 with a game left. Not worried about them.
Forest have lost 3 in the last 4, probably end up on 67/68.
Villa also won't win the last 3, probably end up on 66/67.
So we are good from a top 5 POV, need a win to completely secure it. But from a 2nd place perspective I think we slip, and I think we finish 4th.
Over to you Mikel, if you don't win the champions league this capitulation should mean you need to be sacked.
Our league form has been horrible for months, the champions league has papered over the cracks.
I don't trust this team to win any game atm
I said it before, Arteta has already done his job and thanks for restructuring Arsenal but your time is over. He won't be enough to win things because he is too conservative and risk adverse. Now we need that WC proven manager that you he always gets trophies. Keep Arteta one more year and without massive revamp by Bartra and we won't win anything again. That means key players will start leaving for trophies and then the process starts again.
football its all about win competition man, especially this is big club not small club or mid club or Sp**s,
that is why owner should put deadline day to manager who working at big club for example : win major trophy in 2 season or win major trophy in 3 season. if not then get out (something like that) regardless manager only spent 500m pounds or only spent 600m pounds or 5th in spending in the PL since he got here
you dont need waiting until arteta spending money with big number & become 2nd in spending in EPL just for decide his future that is not make sense because there is a lot manager in the past who spent less money but can deliver major trophy in less than 3 season even when that manager inherited s h i t e squad (for example simeone only need 2 season won laliga by beat barca messi & madrid ronaldo with inherited s h i t e squad + with only spent 35m pounds)
this biggest club in london who won 13x premier league trophy (with invincible unbeaten) fully deserved get better manager (elite manager or world class manager) which more than just assistant manager who never become coach in his life career let alone become manager
i just want to be positive but it will be too hurt if we dont win this CL
no mancity, no liverpool, no real madrid, no bayern munich,
so this season is big chance for arsenal to win champions league
look like we might have bit of chance if Dembele is missing still they got options Barcola and Ramos. they don't have sterling on bench.
after seeing us last 30 minutes that game if we can't get early goal that game it'll be difficult for us we don't have many options and our players look extremely fatigued. if we go out there will be like 2 weeks for season to end so i'm glad we won't be sitting here for months watching us giving zero f**k in the league.
The most depressing thing is that despite us finished 2nd for 3 season in row, spesific for this season nearly all our rivals have/could end up with silverware and we potential finish with NOTHING
1. manutd vs Sp**s at europe league
2. chelshit conference league
3. mancity fa cup
This show that winning trophies has nothing to do with "process, phases" since progress in football is not linear to expect that results of trophies at the end of the process (if it exists). Just meaningless buzz words without tangible targets.
Just like 2020, finished 8th but won fa cup. League performance/ position doesn't transfer to other competitions. The invincibles are another example for failing to win other competitions. at UCL We progressed from QF last season CL to SF this season, does that we will reach the final next season or win it if we reach the final this season? HELL NO it's not a video game to expect progress.
that is why the only strong enough as measuring for progression that is progression in league position/cup competition + progression in trophy cabinet (we still stuck won 1 fa cup which is 5 years ago)
The banter from rival fans will be UNREAL and there's no defence against it because how the hell their worst season in crisis but still can deliver trophy . We just HAVE to win the UCL. No excuses.
man, the context bigger than lose against psg 1-0, because
1. manutd & Sp**s will make europe league final, so one of them will win even when in crisis situation will deliver trophy
2. chelshit club will win conference league,
3. mancity will win fa cup
4. at the same time liverpool already won premier league,
so what for us ???
OH MY GOD
Anybody here still confident we'll go through ?
PSG made 10 changes for their game.
I’m afraid they’re smashing us on Wednesday
Just saw that PSG rested most of their starters today in the loss against Strasbourg whereas we're playing most of them against Bournemouth. It's gonna be a tough away game on Wednesday.
Wednesday could get ugly judging by todays match.
We seem to be able to raise our game in CL, but still. It doesn't instill much confidence.
