It's not end of the world to be looking at wharton and anderson. home grown talent is always welcomed. And depending how we want to set up long term, we might need an extra midfielder. if we move to a diamond once salah leaves (width from kerkez and frimmers/bradley), then we probably need that. We're also assuming macca won' be the target of madrid.

Lots of potential variables, all implying that an extra midfielder next summer is sensible.
