i know i know, we are down and footy is the last thing we want to follow but ...

Stevie G fired, Villa up 3-0 within 14 minutes ... insane.

Arsenal on the way to winning again ... I haven't watched AFTV once this season - FUCKERS.

Wolves are down 2-0 already to Leicester ...

Xhaka just scored for Arsenal vs. PSV. What a turnaround he is having this season, alongside Kepa.

Xhaka - from villain to hero

Credit to Arteta for getting the best of out his players (inc. changing his stance and bringing Saliba into the fold after he seemingly had no future at Arsenal)

At 25 yrs old, is he due a move to a bigger club?

not top of my list at leicester even

rather barnes actually. i think there is some raw talent there to be nurtured further
and tielemanns on a free as i have bored you with for ages

Interesting goal being looked at by var here, lloris mistake and should stand imo

Baena scored the equalizer, lifted his shirt (to dedicate his goal to Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza who passed away) and picked up his 2nd yellow of the match for excessive celebration. Silly rule isn't it? Or should he be blamed because he should expect what's going to come his way?

Tripper, Botman, Pope, Guimaraes have been sensible + effective signings.

Serie A has got to be the most interesting league in terms of title challenge this season. Lazio's keeper was signed for just €2m this summer too.

Mentioned it a lot already but Spurs are fucking shite. The fans didnt even come back out for the 2nd half yesterday because of the rain. I bet they were thinking thank God that we dont have to watch this shitshow and can use the rain as an excuse.

spurs have been lucky. several one-nil's, but now their thin squad is showing
if son or kane also get a knock, the goals will dry out

Let's hope they don't finish ahead of us in the table then because they looked better against Newcastle than we did against Forest!

They didnt. Conte blaiming injuries and not signing 2-3 more players.
Hopefully he kicks off a fuss and falls out with everyone.

I think you view Spurs a certain way because of their fans ... but let's be honest, we looked very poor against a poor Forest team. They looked below par against a team that is challenging for top 4 ...

You'd like to think so...bit strange if either got injured and they started scoring 3/4 a game.

Poch back there?
I reckon so, Conte is known to quit when the going starts to get tough. He can't hack it unless he's got everything he snaps his fingers for.

Don't be surprised if this happens before the world cup.

And we just beat the team that are winning the league this season. There is no point in analyzing anything over one game.

Spurs have been shite in 11 of 12 games this season yet they have the best start to the season ever and are a top 4 candidate. Even with the issues we have this season we are 7 points behind them with one game in hand.
But we are relegation candidates or a cert for mid table.

I know its not in the sites interest to find a logical solution to the poor performance against Forest. But with Thiago and Darwin out as well I think we had one to many injuries to continue to scrap getting results.
To many games, short turn around and 8 players out injured.
For all our issues in midfield, defending, set up, tactical, players off form you can only be competitive for so long with loads of injuries to key personnel and no rest. Jones, Fabinho, Elliott. That midfield aint winning you many games, sadly.

Mate - you're acting like Forest is a midtable team fighting for to chance to play in Europe next year.
*worst* team in the league.
We played that game as if 'showing up' is all that is needed to win.
That is embarrassing.
Again, that team talent wise should be good enough to beat Forest - let's not kid ourselves, we shouldn't need THiago and a player half the site were calling Andy Carroll 2 weeks ago to beat them.
Had we played with the same 'desire' as we did against West Ham, we win on Saturday.
But we were flat, and that is the most worrying thing for me.
This team has great leaders - but is the team just injured / tired / concerned about WC / ______ etc to listen to them and push on?
Fuck knows. I'd rather have played shit in 11 of 12 games and be in Spurs' place than ours ... but the good thing is the season isn't over and hopefully, we still have one good run left in us.

They weren't missing 5 first team players from their starting line up either!
