First up Everton - any more?

Everton have announced record losses of almost £140m after the implications of the coronavirus pandemic significantly impacted revenues.

The club's deficit after tax was £139.9m, considerably worse than a year ago when they posted a then-record loss of £111.8m, albeit over a 13-month accounting period.

I'm sure Everton have something like 80 percent wages to revenue, so they're not in a good place, especially now the Mayor can no longer divert council funds to his beloved club.

I'm most interested in Spurs accounts, TBH. They most be in a very precarious position.

I saw Moshiri has twice added £50m to the accounts to cover them.

Unlikely that there will be too many posting profits.

The other problem will be for clubs who are close to hitting the wall is that the transfer window is unlikely to see a lot of cash flowing around.

Could well be after the new stadium build. Didn't look great when seeing that doc on Amazon. Levy probably got some money back by charging government (Dept of Health) to use the stadium for NHS services over the summer months

This will be interesting reading. I think most if not all clubs will be posting losses what with match day revenue losses and all that. That said, some were already posting loses anyway before the pandemic so are will be in a fairly precarious position.
