So roughly half way through the season. Who do you think has stood out in the above categories so far.

Given the hype that Havertz guy has been a bit shit. Jota being a bit of a bargain and Son being a proper baller maybe (he’s fucking ace) . How’s Brewster doing? My Owls supporting buddy thinks it’s hilarious that we shafted (his words) The Blades 25mill for him. Has he really been that shit?

Oh and FFS [USERGROUP=4]@Moderators[/USERGROUP] someone sort the Xmas vibes out..... Please. I miss my snowflake ‘Graham’s’ 🙂

There's a crop of good young strikers and that threaten to be quality. Mason greenwood, Martinelli, Neto. Any more?

Sadly none are ours. Jota has been fantastic though.

Salah has 11 league goals despite us looking a bit flat up top. It’s a shame he shares that top spot with Inzaghi and Son.

I guess Calvert-Lewin fits in the "Ballers" category.
Flops? So far, I guess it's Havertz considering how much they paid for him.
Bargains? Ollie Watkins. I don't really rate him but he's done the business for Villa.

Yeah, anything that bunch of twats think is really plausible. Brewster has hardly been played with any decent support, and his manager is currently in the kind of catatonic state where he'll never get a chance again. But at least they're not 'undermined' by that nasty idea of five subs - I mean, they're bottom of the table now, thank god Wilder stuck to his guns, just imagine where they'd be if the big teams had an advantage over them!

Greenwood has 1 goal this season and Martinelli has yet to play a game. Not sure they belong in any of the listed categories.

I think Harrison at Leeds has been excellent along with Bamford. Bowen at West Ham has kind of come out of nowhere. As has Callum Wilson at Newcastle.

Grealish has completely exceeded my expectations of him and turned into a real top class player.

As for Flops, its a bit early to make that call but the return from Havertz, Torres, Werner, Thiago and Partey has been non existent. I wouldnt write any of them off just yet.

Thiago has been amazing for the minutes he’s played and a complete flop at the same time.

Well like I said I haven't really seen much of Brewster in these strange times. I hope he comes good (I'm sure he will) but right now 25mill seems like a nice bit of business.

Flops have to include Thiago in a way for the hype and then the injury although yeah he got done in a dirty tackle.

Defo add Haverrz, Werner, Ziyech in there, and Rodriguez has gone off the boil a lot which is funny.

Bargains has to include Jota somehow I feel (biased) alongside Wilson for Newcastle. Castagne for Leicester has done some business but cost a fair bit.

Ballers: Curtis Jones obv

Maybe I'm not watching enough football (3-4 games a week) any more but no one new has stood out bar our Curtis.

Bamford has 9 goals in 13 games, thats pretty good for a guy who was playing Championship football last year
True. But that is also maybe more a reflection of the way Leeds play. Let's see if he can keep it up over a full season.

How is that Yves Bissouma fellow at Brighton? Apparently, we're monitoring him as a potential Gini replacement.

Comfortably been their best player. Whether he's at the right level I don't know, but if Edwards wants him I won't argue

Also for flops, look at Chelsea's attack. It's there for all to see

Havertz is unlucky because he's best in a position flampard isn't using, so he's stuck flitting between cm and winger. Obviously talented, no joy.

Werner. Christ. As more and more games go by I think he would be perfect for spurs or Leicester. He's not an instinctive finisher. Give him time, space, and 40 yards to sprint towards goal, he'll probably finish as he can plan it in advance. Pass him the ball in the box with a defender within 2 yards and he flaps and is unsure what to do.

Ziyech, mostly crocked. Seems fine when plays but is similar to havertz in that Chelsea refuse to play to his strengths.

In the tops, it's got to be Calvert lewin. From clogger to inzaghi in record time.
Kane and son. Both cunts. Both brilliant.
Grealish, I hate the cunt. I think he's overrated. But he's fucking good and the only reason villa tick.
Kalvin Phillips is looking good too. I wouldn't be opposed if we were linked to him in the future.
Eze looks a talent. In an immobile palace who rely on zaha, he's made his presence known.

Bargain? There's not been many like. Eze and bissouma?
