Isn't it just common sense that there's a bias towards English players?
It's an English league, followed by mostly English fans. The pundits relate more to English players and of course they, more often than not, get the benefit of the doubt.
We've benefited from it, I can remember Gerrard getting a lot of leeway from certain refs, sometimes Carra too.

I think it’s more of the link to Nobby, there really isn’t any link but Cas has to write an article to get paid on Saturday night and picking an easy target for his moral outrage with an opportunist path into a legend’s memory. It’s embarrassing...

Rememeber Shearer booting Neil Lennon in the face abar 20 years ago (maybe longer) and getting away with it hahaha

Teams have only played 6-7 games. Anything other than tight would be insane (such a pity we were robbed at Goodison).
 
We no longer have the worst defensive record in the league. West Brom are now on 16 after losing 2-0 to shitty Fulham.
