So, any rumours at all? We wont shot of something like 13 players but noone is close to leaving as of yet. The high wages is one gigantic problem to say the least.

I hope we can shift Joe Cole off the books this summer, as well as Konch and Jova.

Aquilani could still be very useful to us.

We do have a bit of a problem. Not only are they on wages well above what they are worth most clubs in the Premiership seem to be unwilling to add significantly to the wage bill at the moment.

We're not going to see the back of them this summer unless we're willing to subsidise their wages, probably by as much as half of what they are on.

I think its okay to do that for the likes of Konchesky, poulsen and Jovanovic who we are unlikely to give any game time to. Even freeing half of their wages up to give to one good player that will get game time would improve the squad.
