That was easy. It really was. That's the easiest we've ever had it. The couple of goals they had at the end mattered not a jot.
Didn't feel easy...
4-7, 5-7 or 6-7, doesnt matter at all.
Over the two legs we deserved it. Two shite pens and an OG. The scoreline flattered them even though we werent that good tonight.
It seemed like we got to focused on playing the result and stopped playing football.

Honestly, that felt easy. I was able to appreciate their play at one stage. It was a wee fucking gift.
I agree with both statements that the scoreline flattered them and we were poor.
Firmino struggled and therefore our attack never really got going other than some lovely bits of play from Mane, but it was all very individual. Salah tried too hard to prove himself and needed to play he simple ball more often and link up play. Robertson and VVD were the better side of our defensive pairing and among our better players.
At our very best we can beat Madrid, but they are clear favourites given their experience and the weak links of Lovren and Karius in the side which I fear will be costly on the night, but we live in hope.

Honestly, I couldn't disagree more. This team served us up a CL semi-final i which there were no heart-attacks, no paroxysms of fear. We batterd them 5-0, they got a couple of flukey ones, we kept ahead of them in the away tie fo the most part, until they had a couple of late flukey goals. It was easy.
Oh it was easy, to a degree. I'm just furious with the lack of clean sheet in the first leg, and the four goals conceded this leg. I'm angry because it looked like a close tie. Maybe it's the defender in me, but I'd love to have won that 7-2 or whatever like it should've been.
I'm annoyed we lost today, but we're a team in progress, not the finished article... and we're in the final!
That's pretty standard in derbies I believe over there.

I was nervous as fuck watching that game particularly because they had so much of the ball and it was like playing fucking Stoke at times - I worry we lack imagination when faced with a tight defence as our midfield is so depleted we are really stuck - I know Gini scored and happy for him but with so much space available we should have done better and if Ox was fit I reckon we could have put 5 past them. Fucking hell I am a wreck after that. Both Firminio and Salah looked completely off the pace with Mane the only one who was our best player and seemed like the only threat with Robertson.
I don't know what to take from the game overall as we had our foot off the pedal after the first goal it seems but still losing 4-2 ain't a great thing despite getting through. At times it feels like we cannot even pass the ball or take hold of it from the opposition - total reversal of last season where in most games we had the ball nearly all the time.
Fuck it - just enjoy the moment moron.

2nd half, we took our foot off the gas, was very comfortable up to 85th minute, despite Dzeko scoring 1 at the 56 minute.
They needed 3 more in the last 10 minutes just to go into extra time. Not going to happen... they were limited to long range shooting most of the time, our defense has been reasonably solid to limit them to do that.
One very good long range goal, and one unjustifiable penalty. That's it. Game over. For me the game management is good enough.
