Yeah he had a bit of a rep for being a bit of a hard twat. Totti grebbed at him in euro 04 cos Poulsen said something like "fuck off lad shagged ye ma". He booted Kaka Jesus Christ and Gattuso got all 'im a mad italian cunt me i'm gonna spark you lad' and Poulsen was just like 'Wha lad yeah go on fuck off bellend' and then in 2008 during Denmark vs Sweden some Swedish lid hit Poulsen and then Poulsen sparked him everywhere. Poulsen weas sent of and a pen was awarded then a fan ran on and tried to twat the ref. Then the ref went 'fuck this for a bag of chips i'm off like'.

Then he joined Liverpool and he's shit.

And consider the stick Lucas used to get (and still gets here). On his worst day, he's not as bad as Poulsen.
 
Lucas deserved the stick he got. Not so much now but still he's a bit shit. Not shit actually. Lucas is just really really unremarkable.
 
It's only in comparing Lucas to Poulsen that you can give him any credit. I can't believe someone that starts for Liverpool. I'm talking Lucas here. The fact that his brain injured dad stands next to him makes me want to smoke that nuke stuff they made in Robocop.
 
Spearing should be ahead of him and I'm sure we'd all like to see Coady get his chance soon.

The abiding memory of last night was Poulsen going on a run and as he got closer and closer to their box, you could see the cogs working in his head as to what to do next. Unfortunately by the time the cogs has clicked into gear he was left standing staring into space while the opposition had the ball 10 yards in the opposite direction. Fuck him off permanently and give his space to one of the kids.

Could have made some sense, but Roy the Genious Hodgson was ready to offload Lucas when he got his starman.

He is conspicuously absent on the field of play. He is another player who hides underground with Maxi!

Christian Poulsen is desperate to quit Liverpool this summer after being warned his international career could be over if he remains on the fringes at Anfield.

Despite being captain of Denmark, the out-of-favour Liverpool midfielder was left on the bench on Tuesday night and given a blunt message by national coach Morten Olsen.

The 61-year-old said: 'I don't know if he is going to get in the Liverpool team during the remainder of this season, but if he isn't, he will not be in my squad for the Euro qualifying game against Iceland on June 4.'

Poulsen has struggled to win over Liverpool fans since being signed by former manager Roy Hodgson at the start of the season.

While there is interest in Poulsen in Italy and Spain, he could remain in the Barclays Premier League by linking up again with Hodgson at West Brom.

This is good news, sadly.

He's not had anywhere near the impact I would've hoped and there's no reason for him to linger on another Season. I don't know where the Poulsen of old has gone but he's certainly not the one we've got our hands on.
