You don't need to watch all that, but I have started it at the moment he discusses the best team the champions league's xG.

They hype and get excited for the wrong games consistently. To put that performance in against Madrid and then go out meekly to psg is Arsenal. To beat city 5-1, have MLS copy haalands celebration & play "humble" over the speakers, then go on an awful run in the league. It's almost like they need "moments" like other clubs have, but forget they need to fucking win a trophy for it to matter. I've heard arsenal fans say that Madrid game was the best night they've had as a fan. It's pathetic.

Put it in perspective Real are nowhere near as good as PSG...

The best performance I saw all season from any team was their pressing against us in Paris...I've seen us been beat before but I'd never seen us unable to fucking play at all! Even though we won the game it took the wind out of our sails they looked so bloody good, you got the feeling lots of people thought they were gonna win, the performance was so good it sapped our belief in the home leg.

As for Sunday I will be fucked off in the extreme if we put in as tepid a performance this week as we did last, I'd love it of we batter them and show em that we never fluked anything we are the best team in the league... P.S. Arteta, PSG never beat us we only lost to em on penalties cos Slot was a dickhead choosing Nunez

And as for Trent... on ya go...I'd wish you the best but... Real???.... Get fucked.... not arsed i'm sure we can paint over the mural...

I agree, but Madrid are a bigger name. THATS what mattered to arsenal. Psg first leg arsenal didn't even try

It used to do my head in all of this "warm weather training" bullshit the coaching staff used to come out with. A week in Dubai / Majorca doing minimal training and taking their families along. And then arguing with HMRC that it was essential business travel and shouldn't be taxable. They're going on a jolly, nothing more, nothing less. The idea that they will try to justify this on the basis that the players will benefit from training in warmer weather (lads, it's glorious here right now) ahead of vitally important games (two dead rubbers) is total bullshit.
Enjoy your jolly guys, you've earned it, just be honest that that's what it is.
 
Have a feeling that Trent won't be involved today at all.
Imagine Bradley starting and then getting subbed for Trent...there will be boos. Loud boos.

Yeah, I was thinking that.

But equally if Bradley is injured or knackered, who do we turn to?

Do we throw Quansah/Gomez under the bus and put them at RB to protect TAA? Or does Slot, say, you're still employed by us, go and face the boos?

Ideally that is what should be said, but I think the club will protect him, it's bad PR either way.

Or maybe, they'll feel the crowd out today. If there's boos he won't play again and he'll probably not be part of the bus tour.

Quansah, Gomez, Jones, Endo anyone of them could cover the RB position for the last two games in a worst case scenario. Especially since there's nothing to play for.

If at all possible he shouldn't play - but not a the cost of not winning a game. If he has to suffer who cares about bad PR.

He absolutely should be okay if the bus route though. He's earned a spot and the cheers and general goodwill will more than cover the few boos.
