Pre Match Pre Match - Atletico Madrid (H) - CL - Wed 20:00

I thought Slot said pretty clearly that his plan is to play Isak for around 45 minutes vs Atletico, which according to him is a better way to build up fitness than “10-15 minutes here and there.” So Isak will either start or come on early in the 2nd half, but he won’t be available against Everton because according to Slot it takes weeks of building up fitness to be able to play twice a week.

I would drop Salah and make him maximally angry for Everton. Play Frimpong at RW.

Slot says a lot of things...and it ends with the same players starting.

I think his plan is to use early subs as a form of rotation.

The first proper rotation will be against Southampton imo.

It's going to be the same team that started against Burnley, except Macca because of that horrible tackle.

Yeah the only question mark is who plays right back. I'd play Frimpong here and Bradley in the derby but it could also be Bradley and then Szobo at RB in the derby with Macca back in midfield

We might see more rotation in the CL eventually because of last year's lesson that 1st place means fuck all, but that will come later and definitely not in the home debut against Atletico

I would definitely play Macca in the derby. He excels when the game is frantic, unlike yesterday.

I still want to win the league of the champions league. Remain the only champions league league winners.

Seems we are favourites with most for the CL :

Nobody cares mate....what is your obsession with who's the favourite for this, that and the other?

City were favourites with everyone for about 10 years straight, they never won it once.....the season people finally start to pick someone else, they go and fucking win it.
