Pre Match Pre Match - Crystal Palace (H) - Sunday 16:00 - Trophy Day

That was wholly unnecessary.

So he was unmotivated. Maybe he will be again after a short while at real. All came very early and seemingly easy then he didn't know what to do.

Either way, he clearly made the right decision if he couldn't train hard for a new Liverpool manager.

Nothing we didn't expect but now there will be a series of news stories about this for no fucking reason, and what does Liverpool get out of it? Nothing. Stupid from slot.

Trent will likely defend himself too and give it more oxygen. Just shut the fuck up about it and have a parade.
Starting to think Slot has a vindictive side and I love it.

First gift to Alonso? How many is he planning?

Anyways, agree with Fark... unnecessary sniping during what should be a celebratory atmosphere. Everyone is disappointed he's going but it is what it is... let's just move on.

Its one of those that if you hear parts of the quote it sounds like sniping, but if played in full he praises him in the end.

As usual, a big load of nothing.

I listened to the press conference, which I'll admit is a better way of coming to an opinion about a press conference, and it just wasn't said with any malice. Maybe a little mischief.

I retract my statement and will now commence self flagellation.

His integrity is questionable according to Mainz/Dortmund fans after the Red Bull move.
I don’t see it like that. He’s a consultant for them. Despite what they think, RB are a legitimate sport business.

Klopp did lie to any fans or hide anything.

You do have to consider the history and background though. How is Klopp ever going to criticise Trent? Never going to happen so it's akin to a father seeing his son booed, you just wouldn't want to. Klopp is definitely not impartial in this instance and Klopp wasn't an 'on-the-spot' witness to some of the shit Trent has pulled this season.

I don't think I'd personally boo him but I deffo understand the sentiment and disappointment behind those that will/do.

Salah said the same about Trent being here 20 years.

I think for many it’s the lying and the fact it’s Real and all the clap back shit more than anything else.

If your wife cheated on you after 20 years with someone you have a big dislike for and she knows it, then you are aren’t going to say oh well you gave me 20 years so I’ll cheer you on as you pack and walk out into his arms.

Trent can get fucked, sorry Jurgen.

I respect Klopp entirely, but there will always be a big difference between people who made money from the game and those who put money into the game. Klopp was the closest to bridging that divide, but there is still a vast chasm. It is not his fight. He doesn't need to get involved.
I agree—honestly, it's kinda tough seeing Klopp so disappointed. I mean, it's partly his ethos that has brought us back to the top.

I did get swayed while listening to him speak, but then again, after reading the comments and being reminded of how Trent behaved, I think I'm back to just wanting him gone as soon and as unceremoniously as possible.

If they boo, they boo—but there are 20 or more players and staff who will be cheered, and that's where the focus should be.

Nobody fucking cares about the Trent saga anymore, what’s done is done and that’s the end of it.
