If you take me seriously then you’re an idiot

I’m not going to get hysterical about this. We fucking battered them. They looked like a French version of Crystal Palace hoping to catch us on the break.

Just like recent times we’ve been shite as a front 3. Unlike the first leg our forwards got a lot of the ball. Just like the first leg they did fuck all with it. This is where Gakpo’s injury has hit us. Over reliance on some players and forcing Jota back early.

I thought Mac was fabulous bar his brain fart late in the second half. Slobby was fantastic. Had they both stayed on we would’ve won that in extra time. Apart from Quansah, our subs were proper shit. No impact whatsoever other than missing pens.

I hope there’s nothing seriously wrong with Trent or Konate. I think we can win on Sunday without them as long as they refuse to join their national teams.

We’re gonna win the league!

Konate was just cramp. He walked around after the final whistle.
Trent will be touch and go if it’s a twisted ankle.

They were a good side. We still should have won.

Awful in the final third. Salah in yer mans pocket. No plan for penalties. So stupid. A lot gets a d- from me for this one.

I’m not happy

I hate the TV director and I hate the psg bench and their sad Zelenski tribute gear
I thought they were Russian reservists
Did you see the rest of the 4 strikers? It’s not always about Mo when we lose.
They aren’t asking for £400k a week. With great pay comes great responsibility. His off the ball work was decent tonight but overall his on the ball work both legs was shit.

I thought they deserved to go through over the two legs. We're running pretty low on gas right now, so glad we managed to stretch the lead over Arsenal. Still a fantastic season, and really, once we had that draw and path to the final, winning the CL looked very very difficult.

Tough to take after outplaying them. For all the amazing attacking talent they apparently have, they score one jammy goal over 210 mins.

We should be fired up for the final after that. Tough way to go out. Winning the league will be incredible. The cup is icing.

I do miss our breaks when we had Mane, Bobby and Salah. Fuck me. Had we had those up front in their prime we would’ve walked that.

Oh serioisly who cares, do you know how much he is asking even ? I don’t. I would give him based on this season Diaz, Jota and Nunez’s wages because he has covered for them all season long.

Big money and you need to deliver in the big games. He was missing in both of them in this round.

He’s already on 350k ish. He won’t be after a pay cut. Even on the same money the point stands. You want the big money you stand up in the big moments.

Tonight was the first time I realised I wouldn’t be even slightly disappointed if both Jota and Núñez were shown the door this summer. I’ve been done with Núñez for a while, but I’m starting to feel the same way about Jota. His injuries speak for themselves, but if he can’t deliver in the limited games he actually plays, then what’s the point? The attack has never truly clicked, and this summer is a chance for Slot to shape it in his own vision.

As for the general performance it was decent and improved, but we just lacked the quality in both chance creation and finishing. Lots of hard work went into establishing a platform to win the game and the players didn't make it count. There was a period around 65 minutes when we were well on top with our first eleven on the pitch and I felt we had to take advantage now, otherwise it's a dice roll. We didn't, and the dice landed against us.

The cup final is a nice way to boost moral. We need to move on fast and attack the rest of the year.

We’ll get a week rest before each game now, and should be fit and ready for the run in
Trent, Konate, Bradley, Gakpo all dead or semi dead. A tired Gravy and Macca. Jota off the boil and Nunez a lost cause. I really hope you're right.

I'd really like a bit more creativity from the midfield if I'm honest. Perhaps that will come with a better 9, but right now we're rarely seeing defence splitting passes from them

He did look absolutely fucked. Too tired to go away to the French game if you ask me.

I know this is going to be my least popular "brainwave" ever, but I actually think they should use xg instead of penalties. Not cos it's perfect, because it obviously isn't, but because pens are such a ridiculously shit and irrational way to settle a game of football.
Not that I fully understand xG but wouldn't that just lead to taking easy pot shots at the keeper from distance in the last minutes?
