Pub World Cup Final Rounds

I just hate Chelsea, maybe more than any other. Maybe an exaggeration, but close. Respect for Maresco, though. They worry me.
I get you, but its always a risky strategy, so never bothered me that they were buying these young players, it takes a lot to motivate and guide young starlets for an entire season. So these one off cup wins, is easier for them, and been young and talented they can match any other team.

I do think Chelsea have shown how to hurt PSG. Although, we played them well and only lost on penalties.

I hope this tournament never happens again, but sadly football is run by a dictator who couldn’t care less about anything else than money.

Unfortunately it will happen again and TBF, if it hadn't been Infantino's idea, someone else would have come up with it anyway. It's like VAR - a bad idea too deeply rooted in money to be rejected now.

They have to make it smaller

They’re talking about making it bigger, because they want more European teams involved.

Here’s my theory - this tournament is the only way Saudi teams will get the proper international exposure they need - unless Saudi suddenly decides to join UEFA.

If, at some point the prize money starts to look like more than teams will get from competing in the Champions League and a formula can be agreed to ensure the big European teams get a guaranteed big slice of the action then we could see a “World League” that gets played during the season every year, rather at the end every 4 years.

It’d basically a replacement for the European Super League proposal.

Exactly, they're not getting into the CL so they need away to measure themselves against the European teams.
