Rafa confirmed as new Chelsea boss

Because people want chelsea to do well because they're managed by their hero

Rafa played on the emotions of the Liverpool people and now moved to one of the clubs that showed no respect to the dead rafa "honours"

Rafa, Chelsea, and rafa supporters can fuck off.

1) We support Liverpool. We are not the Chelsea-hating society.

2) Rafa didn't "move on". We sacked him.

And we have a new manager. (btw, we can only have one (1) manager so I'm not sure what you expect Rafa to do in the meantime - manage Tranmere Rovers?)

3) Every club has some fools as fans. (have you been on Rawk..) so what?

4) This is a bit harder to grasp. See, there is a league table and everyone has to finish somewhere. Also everyone plays everyone else. So, if a club does well that doesn't per se affect us. It's only if (1) they beat us in the 2 games they play that it matters or (2) at any point in time they are close to us int he table. Otherwise, them playing well just means someone else gets beaten. which is good. It's really up to us to do well.

I don't think you can blame Rafa for going to Chelsea. I think it's the wrong job for him because the fans will hate him from day #1, but he may do well there and after so long out the game he probably feels he's got no alternatives.

As for fans wishing him well, again I don't see the big deal. It's either them, Utd or City. If Rafa makes Chelsea a bit more palatable than the rest... so what?

1) I didn't say we were.

2) we sacked him because he turned the squad to muck. Yet people still wanted him back.

I wouldn't care if rafa got a job at real, ac, psg, etc etc. Yet the fact he's gone to a club which has shown such disdain over our dead sickens me.

3) Yup. Every set of fans have thick cunts in their ranks.

4) oh is that how it works. See for me, rafa doing well with one of the most expensive and talented squads ever assembled would be a) winning every trophy b) winning 2 trophies, or c) winning a trophy. I want chelsea to do none of them, because they're a shower of cunts. I'd like to win the FA cup. I'd like to win a trophy. When they fail to get out of the group stages and end up in the Europa league, and probably beat us (if we progress), then I'll have double reason to dislike the man.

The best scenario is for Chelsea to beat Man U in all games including cups from now on, win the league cup and FA cup, lose to City for the title. Chelsea comes 3rd, than Benitez got sacked and he will be compensated zillions and Pep the new manager inherits a dysfunctional team then Roman gave up on owning a football team!

and buys Joe Cole

.

Turned the squad to muck? Really? How did we make 80m quid off two players the season after he left? Is it his fault that those two players were replaced with Andy Carroll and Stewert Downing (not a direct replacement of Mascher, no, cause Spearing was deemed good enough).

It's a Job at one of the big Clubs in the Premier League and he'll be working with some world class players. You can't blame him for taking it.

It's disappointing and worrying but i think it's harsh to have a go at Rafa for taking the Chelsea job.

Especially when it was obvious that he'd love to come back to us, but the club's lack of enthusiasm for that idea (rightly IMHO) was painfully clear.

And for all you fellas foaming at the mouth about such views (including many whom I know and like, and whose views I respect), not blaming Rafa does NOT entail wanting Chavski to do well. Yoking the two things together is pure horsesh!t.

Rafa needed a job, he got one. We have enough to worry about without stressing about the Chelsea manager. It is what it is. If he was so in love with the city, he wouldn't have went there.

Soooooo simple.

How's his weight now? I just don't think he can operate fat. This isn't a dig at fatness, I'm a bit of a fatty and some people are suited to their fatness and it works well for them.

But Rafa... when he was normal build he was ace. The fatter he got the worse he got. I don't think this can be overlooked. I'll be worried if he's looking a lean 12 stone.

There's a difference between not blaming him judge (which I get) and other people saying "I hope he does well"

They're unrelated viewpoints.

FFF said he doesn't blame him but hasn't said he hopes he does well.

don't forget the goatee, if he's still rocking that he's fucked .

Exactly

I honestly don't care about the appointment

I do care that Liverpool fans are STILL treating him like a lost love

He wasn't lost. He went mental

Masher cost us 18m and torres 20.id say we got 30m net.

Net is the thing rafa sympathisers love right?

And that was on 2 players who he bought 3 years previous. Torres was a shadow of himself and masher wanted to go because we were shit.

I don't blame rafa for buying the new batch of shit, but I do blame him for leaving us with a lot of shit.

I will always have an affinity with anyone who supports Liverpool, I genuinely find it hard to really dislike even the biggest wanker, if he supports us.

But this makes me question that. It's borderline insulting to me, and I can't imagine how it makes Liverpool natives feel.

Have you thought about a tattoo of one? Henna if you're scared to commit.
Not sure I could pull it off. I'd have to darken my hair to match the henna, and then I'd look like Keith of the office (minus the glasses)

I'm really happy about this appointment this morning.

I like the guy and he was brilliant for us, the pros massively outweighed the cons.

But the deification of him was symptomatic of that vocal minority, the agitprop culture of the superfan crowd - which always seeks hierarchies and controversies. He willingly bought into all that, and I'm glad that their using him as an icon for their philosophy has backfired. I'm also glad that Chelsea fans are gutted.

As Themn said. It's hilarious.

I don't understand why people think if he wins something with an expensively assembled Chelsea it proves he's a great manager.
I knew Di Matteo was no use despite winning the same as Rafa did in England.

And people who believe in the 'he'll get the best out of Torres' bullshit are too stupid to be allowed to contaminate the gene pool.

I don't see how any Liverpool supoorter can not want Rafa the man to do well, he loves the city, the people and the club with a passion and I have great respect for that man.

Rafa the manager is a slightly different kettle of fish. I'd like to see City and Chelsea (and 17 other clubs) finish above United, so if that means wishing him well then so be it. He is too good a manager to be sitting on the sidelines and pretty much every manager in Europe wold jump at the chance to manage Chelsea and Abro's pockets. Hopefully this means at the end of the season he is taken on by a club more befitting his talents and status.

Of course I hope that we beat them 3-0 every time we play them.
