Is the English media lambasting him for his blatant dive which earned a penalty? We all know if Suarez has done the same he would be getting eviscerated by the media.

I haven't really seen much about it online but was wondering what the sentiment has been over there in the papers and on the radio.

I only saw it on the news briefly and it didn't look like a dive to me, could you post a video?

It was a pen, but ramires moved his right leg to an unnatural landing poison to damn well make sure here was contact

He made the most of it as he knew he had done to much and had a great chance to win a pen

I don't think there is anything particularly wrong in making sure the ref knows you've been fouled or that there was some kind of contact. After all, this is a high stakes game and not one of honour.

Your right I would say

I thought he slipped first then Cech caught him. I wouldn't call it a dive. I wouldn't start a thread about it either but there you go.

Quite why cech bothered to tackle him is beyond me. He was through on goal!

He didn't dive, certainly not blatantly. But he did do, was engineer a foul by making sure there was contact, just like Rooney did. To me, that's pretty much in the same league as diving.
