In October of last year I started a game asking people to list names of 5 current LFC players who will not be at the club (sold or loaned out) by September 1, 2016. Before I reveal the winner, here are some other stats:
20 posters submitted their "envelopes", 3 of the entries have been disqualified – @mark1975 for submitting only 3 names (he got them all wrong too!) and @Sheik Yerbouti and @jan for submitting exactly the same 5 names as the poster before them (you can thank @gene hughes for that rule!) Of the remaining 17, only two SCM posters got all the players right. No one got all five players wrong, but @redhorizon2 and @peterhague came close with four misses each. Better luck next time, boys! Myself, I got 3/5 right and placed firmly in the middle of the pack...
The player who was the most frequently selected (13 out of 20), but stayed, was obviously Lucas. Lovren was also selected by almost half of the posters and Lallana also ruined quite a few posters' scores by embracing Klopp's methods and staying. Of the players who actually left, the likes of Balotelli, Enrique and Toure were predicted by lots of people, but only one or two posters got Skrtel, Allen, Benteke and Flanagan right – kudos to them.

For the "Names in the Envelopes 2" from May (stricter rules where you have to get all 5 right), the winner is @Modo! Two more posters got all 5 right, but lost to @Modo on the tie-break, almost everybody else has been predictably tripped up by Lucas.
Please give @Frogfish and @Modo a lot of "Likes" if/when they post in this thread. Sorry, that's probably the only prize we can give. Thanks for playing!
