If this was 2008, I'd agree with you. Since it's 2012, he's no where near the 'best players in the world' and hasn't been for a while too.

He's not coming to us anyways, we were never the club to attract Brazilian flair players.

To prove how idiotic people are being here. Go watch Kaka over the last two years - he RARELY looks himself. He's not the same player who destroyed us in Istanbul. He's the player who could barely do anything against North Korea and is injured more of then than not.

Anyways, we're an average club! So since we're average, let's continue to sign these 'freebies' and see how far it can get us. My next suggestion: Ivan Cordoba.

Figo's injury track record wasn't bad ... and he was still playing regularly with Real Madrid.

Whatever, I wouldn't cry if we signed him, it does work with our current predicament on many levels.

Oh yeah! We almost pulled that off if I remember right, would've been summer 2005. Then we were strongly linked with Stelios Giannakopoulos and Nobby Solano as alternatives.
