I remember when Vodafone sponsored Man Utd there was pieces in the press that people were not taking up Vodafone contracts because of its association with Man U. Just wanted to know if any one here has refused to purchase a product on the basis that the brand sponsored a rival eg You use to drink Chang Beer but now longer dont.

I use other sites with ridiculously huge interest charges instead of wonga. What's a couple of hundred percent interest when you run the risk of financially supporting a rival team?

I only buy hitachi electrics, I have a candy fridge stocked up with carlsberg and my walls are covered in crown paint..

I don't see a sponsor in any way connected to the club. It's just a random business trying to raise it's profile and will slap their name across any shirt going. It would be pointless to not buy their product if it was right for me.

I refuse to drink Carlsberg on account of it's fucking shite

Ha... I don't mind it, I can't drink Fosters and can just about do Carling these days. I am getting old though, I think I'm at that age where I switch allegiances to Whiskey and Bitter/Guinness/Mild...!

It can be decent enough in Denmark. They have one called Carls Special that is very good. Not to be confused with Special Brew.

The British stuff is muck.
