He had the chance to go to Atleti in the summer, could've ended up coming back to Anfield, and turned the chance down. Spurs are absolutely fucking shite but they're an absolutely fucking shite side that'll be playing in the last 16 of the CL next month.
Udogie has had a lot of time out injured and doesn't look the same player right now, Spence can cover either FB position. I can understand why Spurs would want Robbo in that respect and aside from what he brings as a player they could really use his attitude and leadership skills. They've got a bloated squad with no real leaders in it. Romero is their captain FFS.
Going by performances so far this season, as a back up, I dont think it actually makes a difference if its Robbo or Tsimikas. BUT, Robbo is one of the leaders and it would be crazy to let him leave now given how important he is to the player group.
I wouldn't be hugely against Tsimi as a back up if Robbo leave.. on the pitch.
But what a loss that would be in the dressing room, on the training ground. But Robbo has been one of the greatest servants to us, and deserves to make the call himself.
