Really can't see him at another EPL club, not because of the LFC badge, more the pace is the problem and he is on the wane in that respect

I agree, to an extent........but who are we going to use to cover him?
A LB who can CB would work.
He's in massive wages and isn't playing much so it makes sense.the other issue is that the replacement will need to be homegrown unless Endo or Federico are off as well.

I suspect it will be Kostas coming back as he's not getting a game for Roma. I would have hoped that the club were planning on life without Robbo from the summer, so I don't know whether there's someone we would have been targeting then that we could bring forward to now. Probably not. Could we cancel Luke Chambers' loan?

If he wants to go and play more football then I'm cool with it. He's given us great service and is worthy of being remembered as an LFC Legend. I don't see him going to a massive rival of ours, and honestly I think he'd be better going to a mid-table team where he can play every week and then rest on European nights, but I expect he'll still want to play as near the top level as he can.
But honestly, if he can deal with being back up, I'd much rather he stayed, for the off-field influence as much as being a safe pair of hands when needed.

Pretty sad if he wants to leave, but then isn't his agent Trent's brother? No surprise, if so. For me, Robbo has had a fair amount of game time given his performance levels. If that's not enough for him, then fair enough, but I don't think he's been hard done by. He's more than earned the right to leave on his own terms, as he's been one of the best signings in our history and won the lot.

I read we were bringing back Kostas to flog to Forest. Possibly bollocks but I think it was from the Athletic.

He's earned it though I'd rather he stays - he's an important part of the club's fabric and he should stay a wee bit longer.
I would get the point about letting him go now if he was literally getting no games, was third or fourth choice or whatever, but that's not the case. He's still playing a fair bit, we still have a lot of games and we still need him.
