Sack watch

Last night before sleep, instead of watching anything about Liverpool I watched a YouTube channel dedicated to nuclear accidents with shots of various radiation poisoning victims skin blistering and falling off, a colonoscopy video of one finding their gut to be filled with grey, necrotic, tissue.

It was more comforting that way.

Yeah, interesting term I learned from this that is apposite.

Walking Ghost Phase: a critical, deceptive stage of severe acute radiation syndrome (ARS) where victims appear to recover for hours or days after initial sickness, despite having received a lethal dose (10-50+ Sieverts). During this latent period, cells are dying from DNA damage, yet symptoms temporarily subside before a fatal relapse occurs.

There were nurses and even a patient convinced that they were making a full recovery, meanwhile their DNA was so unrecognizably damaged that it couldn't be repaired.

Less depressing and more entertaining no doubt.

I didn't even watch the game. I was in Belgium doing some adventuring and then it was dark and the phone was on and we went 1-0 down and I just left my phone in my mates car and didn't bother to check it. It feels like I expect us to lose to Bournemouth. If you can't sack him for that, then what's the fucking point

The thing is, nobody wants to sack a Liverpool manager but at times it has to be done. We’re at a point now were the league placement regarding CL is slipping away, and the league is so shit that a new manager that can stabilize the rot and get the best out of the players will secure a top 4-5 finish.
Slot won’t. In the last 18 games we’re averaging about 1.16 points or something. Its insanely bad. Last season it would have seen us finish 15th. It’s not good enough. It’s a disgrace. A change is needed now.

I just thought. Klopp is the only manager we didn't sack since Kenny in the 90s, right? Since Sounds we sacked em all bar Klopp. The idea we don't sack managers I think that's just a Klopp history hangover

So we bin the Dutch tippy-tappy side-to-side shaved cunt for a Spanish tippy-tappy side-to-side cunt with ginger hair around it?

Really?

If we want rid of the endless possession based footy with no thrust for high energy, high press fast footy then who suits?

He's not turning this around.

If he manages to pull off something in the champions league (possible) or FA cup (unlikely as we'd be playing English teams with their low block ways), we are looking at our own Ten Haag at United.

He won the FA cup, they kept him in the job and quickly realised he needed to go. They might even have given him a new contract.

We need to pull the trigger to keep ourselves in the top 4.

No, this confuses me a little too now.

There MUST be some people at the club who want to sack him, so what are the arguments of the people who don't want to?

"We made a dossier, hand picked him, gave him more money than Klopp ever asked for because we were certain about him and we didn't like Klopp, and now we need to be proven correct no matter what the cost" ?

So he's basically our Amorim/Ten Hag...great.

I like Sky Sports' headline though:

'Slot: We only have ourselves to blame - plus wind, fixtures and injuries'

Everyone seems to have seen through his bullshit - apart from two special cases on 6CM.
I read that, it make me chuckle, this guy needs binning off before we’re miles off 4th place.

I am really hoping it isn't this, but it does worry me that it is.

i’m thankful we have purchased some decent players. i don’t think we landed any real sancho level turds although isak is concerning.

however the squad is a proper mess and while that’s not arnes fault he has proved this season that he has struggled with several changes.

there are so many more changes to come and i think hughes/ edwards are intent on tearing the squad apart to get it into state with a good blend of competitiveness, value and longevity. so if there’s more of this to come, is slot the right man to walk the shifting sands?

Is he sacked yet?

Maybe we just get Queerbags out of the way to ensure whoever (Xabi) comes in gets a bit of time to get to know the players rather than two additional fixtures

goldbridge annoyed me with a clickbait he’s sacked video on youtube but it didn’t surprise me at all

I think the real issue is he’s not a Liverpool manager. Seems like a nice enough fella, but following someone like Klopp, you’ve got to have some proper charisma. His style of play is anti Liverpool. Couple that with having just watched some of the most breathtaking and dynamic football most of us have seen in our lives, he had to continue winning. We talked about the style of play last year but you could justify it with results. Now we’re losing and he’s slowing it down even more.

I’m sad he’s probably going to have to go but in reality, it was never going to last.

I had resigned myself to Slot staying at least until the end of the season after he survived this.

Jesus Christ that's diabolical when it's laid out in front of you
