City will now offer £20m for him in Jan. Surely we too should compete for his signature?

The gooners will be in meltdown if that happens. It will be supreme to witness. Alexis joining City would be devastating though - really hope an overseas team throws some cash his way.

PSG haven't made quite enough of a mockery of FFP yet. Maybe they'll come in for him.

Give hm a 10 million signing on fee and keep the wages to 200kk limit. I can see him ending up at united

Thought the whole ex-player reluctant to play for ex-manager nonsense was blown out of the water after Lukaku happily trotted along to play for the same manager who sold him.

It's not blown out of the water. That's ONE example.

Managers buying players after they've already sold them once isn't common. It's much more common to see examples of players who have been bought several times by the same manager after moving clubs.

For obvious reasons.

Souness bought Saunders, sold him, and bought him again.

So? Still isn't common.

Redknapp and Krancjar must be close to that....Or Redknapp and Crouch....or Redknapp and Defoe.....I'm sensing a pattern here.

Whenever a manager re-signs a player, odds are the words "trusted lieutenant" will be used in the report.
Allardyce and Nolan springs to mind. And a quick google search demonstrates it sprung to the mind of sports' writers too...

4. Kevin Nolan - undisclosed from Newcastle-West Ham - 2011
A trusted lieutenant from his time at Bolton, Allardyce convinced Kevin Nolan to drop into the Championship with West Ham and named him captain. The midfielder became a key player in the their promotion run and starred back in the top flight for the Hammers.

Sanchez would be perfect for us. Can play upfront and on the wing. If Ox was bought to play in midfield then we still lack another winger.
Still, our priority is first and foremost to get a top class CB.

I think he is more trouble and gets bored after a couple of seasons.

Sent from my SM-A300FU using SixCrazyMinutes mobile app

A couple of seasons is a long long time in Football now though. Think we'd all take 2 seasons of him ripping it up as he helps us win loads of shit before he throws the toys out of the pram and demands a move.
