I'd bring Endo in for Macca, play Chiesa on the right, Szobo on the left and Wirtz behind Ekitike. I don't think Wirtz is going to be given the best chance of success without a decent platform behind him to keep winning the ball.

Similarly the defence needs more protection and they're not going to get it with Macca or Jones there

We will be fine. Crazy how we have lost these games, we should have drawn 2 and won 2 but shit happens.

We have spent well, the new lads are at the right age, they come into a title winning team and with youth players emerging to go with the experienced older heads. Our kids beat Man City this weekend.

Of course we haven't clicked into gear yet but that's just as much to do with an inexplicable loss of form of 3 class players in Konate, McAllister and Salah as the new recruits.

I got drenched waiting for the bus home yesterday, had to endure the day in Manchester today but kill me if you like, I'm excited about the squad we have.

Honestly feel that the deadline day failure to bring in Guehi has set us back. I pray we correct that in January. That and a Milner like older head in midfield to provide leadership and composure would set us up. Until then we have loads of games and will come good. Believe

The problem is we've got a coach who gives off vibes that if something is pointed out to him as being obviously wrong he'd rather wait to be proved right than take the hint. I think being presented with analysis that shows him how to improve things would only work if you could brainwash him that he'd thought of it first.

It is hard to convince him when his front men cannot fucking score open goals.
