What's your thoughts on there form of late not lost since the 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea that zlatan bloke notching a dozen league goals, I know we should concentrate on our own form I agree but can't help them creeping up to the champion league places.
Is because they've played the lesser team or has Maureen got his mojo back.

I didn't watch their game yesterday but they've not exactly been that great when I watched them - still a rather disjointed team, however - when you have that many classy players, you're gonna win more than you lose. All I know is I saw Maureen bitching this week how 'Chelsea will probably win the league because they score a goal and shut up shop,' and play 'very defensive.' Ha ha poor lad.

Like he used to do at Chelsea.

Think it's a case more of them playing poorer teams at the right time. Could still see them being found out against better teams. hopefully lost enough ground early on to dent their champions league hopes.

Sunderland should have been infront yesterday before the Scum scored with their first shot on target.
They're not great but you'd expect them to be up there with a 500 £ mill squad.

I dont really follow them that much as we just have to concentrate on ourselves

They were all over both Arsenal and Spurs (think they drew both). They are probably the 4th best team in the PL at the moment and will likely improve as the season goes on, at least until the EL kicks off again, hopefully that will divert attention.

He's finally realised that if you play world class players like Mkhity, they win games. Their form shouldnt be surprising with a team including Zlatan, Pogba, Mkhit, De Gea etc. I think they'll start to catch until the EL picks up again.

They are playing some superb football but it's against weaker sides.

I expect them to fall away again against the top sides.

They still need 3/4 players to look a proper team.

I haven't seen them play 'superb' football at any time this season and I doubt many United fans think that either, in fact I'm sure they don't. Efficient with moments of individual brilliance is how I would describe them at the moment.

I think standards have slipped so much at that Club that any signs of improvement get overhyped a little.

They're probably going in the right direction but considering the levels of investment they can't not be really. They're in the mix for top 4 and that's about it.

Their defence is good and they have De Gea. Add in some individual brilliance and they'll be right up there in the top 4. From the last few weeks you'd think maybe Arsenal could miss out. It will extremely close from 4-6 I guess.

How many of their games have you watched in full?

Probably not nearly as many as an ardent Manc like you.
😉

I have a lot of Utd fans as friends (as everyone Irish Liverpool fan would) probably more so than most English Liverpool fans.

So yes I do watch their games as they watch ours in turn.

Pretty much every live PL game that doesn't clash with us. I've probably seen 15 of their PL games this season - EVERY PL game is screened live and can be watched on playback in Shanghai.

I've seen probably the same of Chelsea's and City's. Maybe 10 of Arsenal's and 7-8 of Spurs' games.

Next question ?

Don't get out much do you? 😉

What's the prescription on your rose tinted glasses?

I'm retired and I live in Shanghai (not a fan of pissed up expat communities) so spend all my time on planning hiking trips & travel and on my photography and football forums .. so you would be correct ! Except when I'm traveling.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You are the one claiming United play 'superb' football and I'm saying that's utter tripe.
You are looking at them as a biased Liverpool fan. They are playing very well and are in the in form side apart from Chelsea.

Hatred is blinding you IMO

Dreamy, please stop with the Utd love fest. Its awful to read.

There is no live fest I'm just not a 1 eyed fan and prefer to be more balanced.

I've already said I think they will fall away again but if people can't acknowledge their impressive form then they have the problem not me.

Duncan Castles popping up again because they beat Sunderland.
I can imagine him and his friends watching them and just saying 'superb' for the whole game.

I thought you were a pissed up expat working in Shanghai!

What made you choose Shanghai to retire in, of all places...? family?

No I'm not. No it's not. The better posters (and Admin) on RedCafe also don't think they are superb either, just improving and showing positive signs. In fact I don't think I've see even one person call their form superb -There's only one person going OTT on United's form and that's you.

Form depends on who you have played and how well you have played, not just a WDL in the column. Sunderland, WBA, Palace and Spurs (1-0 at home) is nothing more than decent, and they hardly deserved the win against Spurs either.
