[article]Catania striker Sebastian Leto has been hospitalised, after a horror training accident saw a barbell fall on his head.
The player has been on loan at Argentinian club Lanus since February 3, and suffered the injury after a squat exercise in the gym saw a barbell breaking and falling on his head.
Sportmediaset reports that the forward was initially sent home by the medical staff with a deep wound in his head, but later went to the hospital, and is in intensive care where the doctors are not ruling out surgery.
It’s feared the 28-year-old may have internal haemorrhaging, which can be fatal if not treated properly.
The striker made 14 Serie B appearances before his loan move, scoring three goals.[/article]
