It also depends on who is available. Hopefully he can get us playing at a reasonable level to comfortably get us into the top 4. That will give us some confidence for next season considering how poor we were playing. Anything worse than that I will definitely want him gone if there is a good alternative. Clock's ticking.

I think the key word is progress.

If in the next month the team start showing real resolve, fighting spirit, better defensive performances and the system starts looking more settled and comfortable - then that buys him to the end of the season.

But if we keep playing like a bunch of strangers, leaking goals and iffy results, we really should be pulling the plug by early Jan.
