Just got a flashback of Me and Jon being besties holding the toilet door in the Harry closed for each other so we could take turns having a shit in peace.
Sorry for being a no-show; I had allowed for the fact I would be pissed the night beforehand at my wife's 30th birthday party but hadn't factored in that we'd all be out on the Friday night too until 4am! By Sunday I was mashed, I went to the pub with a load of lads but did tell them I was getting a taxi to Liverpool if City were losing at half time but...........
I would say....."I'll definitely be at the next one" but I'm quite sure I've said that bi-annually now for about 5 years :-( It's such a pity because you would all love me.
Mathew Street was mental Sunday night. 100s of Reds singing in the streets, police doing their best to spoil the party, people near getting killed by horses. Madness.
The singing in the bars outside Anfield was great also, the spirit and togetherness of Scousers and Liverpool fans in general is special and unique...it genuinely is.
Imagine the celebrations if we'd actually won the bliming thing.
