So... No mention of...

we all knew salah would strop the very second it looked like he is not be considered an absolute certainty to start. it surprises me slightly that it occurred in a meh european game though, it’s hardly a huge blow to his reputation.

it’s not just the twitter shenanigans though, he took it on the pitch as well. his face was an absolute state when he came on.

Appaz he just walked off the pitch too. No applauding the travelling fans. Any player doing that deserves a shoeing.
yea that’s not great but you know exactly what’s in his head. we just played a shite team and i missed the opportunity to pad my stats, he’s definitely gutted about that.

that’s the attitude that saw him become one of the best but it’s totally incompatible with a career twilight situation at liverpool.

Absolutely. Goalscorers do need a touch of selfishness on the pitch, at least some of the time. Neither goalscorers nor any other players should carry that over into their off-field behaviour as Salah is now doing. He's slipped a long way down from the admirable team spirit he showed on that magic night at Anfield when we turned Barcelona over 4-0 while he was injured and he was there supporting the team to the max.

See everytime I see the phrase shoeing I just think

let george bush GIF

Heard from a traveling fan this is just not true. He did applaud the away end, but he was first down the tunnel after that
Away fans are probably the most honest lot especially at a European away.
Not sure if the picture on the article is from this game:
Also mentions the Mail reporter (snigger!) who originally tweeted it, deleted the original tweet. Wonder why… unlike Mail to make stuff up though…

Not true.
From goal.com.
Salah did find time to clap Liverpool fans in the away end before making his way off the field. He was, however, clearly disappointed with his night’s work.

As with all things in media, truth is somewhere in middle. Let’s not be in rush to spread stuff without checking facts easily available.

Lewis Steele - thundercunt

Slot needs to double down on his dropping now.

If he comes straight back in, it legitimises this petulant and destabilising shit.

He's less likely to do it on future, if he realises it's counterproductive.

Not to mention it's by far the best policy for us to win the game...
