Not that I'm for the idea. But what's the problem with Clarke? I have to say I don't really know enough about his capabilities as manager to say I definitely don't want him.

Ha. The concern for me is not Clarke, who lets face it cant do much worse than our last 3 seasons. Its the fact that giving the job to him indicates no money at all.

True but it shows an incredible lack of ambition and knowledge. Things were much different when we used to promote from within those days are long gone. Perhaps Clarke was largely responsible for our immediate improvement in style and performance when Kenny and he came onboard. And then later, when Kenny began to find his feet again tactically (after so long out of the game), Clarke's contribution diminished and so did our performances.
