Pretty sad too, sad for the club and Kenny but it wasn't really working.

At least we can look back and say we won a cup in his year in charge.

Now he is gone, I feel well down. Thanks for the Carling Cup Kenny. And the great run in the FA cup too.

Kenny Dalglish leaves Liverpool manager's post
Kenny Dalglish has left his post as Liverpool manager.
The 61-year-old has paid the price for Liverpool's poor performances in the Barclays Premier League.
Dalglish's departure comes after he held face-to-face talks with principal owners John W Henry and Tom Werner in Boston on Monday.
The Scot had been expected to depart on holiday on Wednesday but he postponed that and remains on Merseyside.

I loved having Kenny leading the team for the second half of last season, it was thrilling to read in print "Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish". It occured to me that Liverpool's results meant more to me with him at the helm than they had since he was last in charge. This season has been doubly painful because it was his team breaking all the records for all the wrong reasons.

He should have been given at least another year though.

didnt someone say a PL managers been approached? Martinez? cant see us going for anyone else that would come here

Apparently Tony Barrett says he has a massive exclusive on this. He's having to delay to honour someone's wishes.
