The owners definitely mean business. If this whole rumour of them not giving Kenny any money as to force his hand at quitting or getting sacked is true, then I believe they are going to hire someone top-class. They are surely not ballsy enough to give it to Clarke or Martinez coupled with a sizable budget are they?

They're all shite. And him and Evans were giving us the exclusives on Kenny Huang not too long ago.

It'll be FSG refused to back Kenny, which shouldn't be surprise given the losses we've been making.
 
I'm sad about this. I was never lucky enough to see Kenny play apart from the odd youtube clip but I liked having Kenny as manager. Our season tailed off badly after Christmas but before then he had reignited a general optimism around the club.

Barrett wasn't. That was Evans. And there is no exclusive appaz. it was a 'piss take'.

You know that ? I don't think they have a plan or strategy. We've no CEO still, no DoF, no manager and other posts need filling. And don't get excited about a budget either because there's no money by all accounts too. Unless that was used as a tool to get Kenny out which is all a bit shithouse IMO. There's is a massive decision by FSG and has taken some balls but lets see where we are next season and who our next manager is
 
not surprised, poor season by our standards. just couldn't see him turning it around even if he was given another season. he will always be a legend in the eyes of lfc fans. so who do we get? rafa, klopp, martinez, capello ............

They just can't risk getting further and further away from the Champions League - they have to get in a world class manager now, a big european name that will attract top names, since we don't have the CL to attract.

I know Sunny, but surely KLOPP, Capello or Rafa are attainable. Rafa has been very quiet lately, which makes me wonder. He's usually out promoting himself.

Feel very sad about this, as its the King a living legend.

But, in the end the right decision. The next appointment will be extremely important. If we get a mid table manager in we're stuck there for the next 10 years.

Will be interesting to see who they have lined up

And we were a disputed goal away from taking another final to extra time with our opponents physically out for the count. I reckon we would have won had it gone beyond 90 mins.

For me it's an extremely marginal call to sack Dalglish, so I'm waiting to see what they do next so that it's put into context better.
