Last game before the World cup at home to Soton who will either be managerless or have a new manager. Regardless, a must win game before the 6 week break.
The Viking balls will be smooth a ready for the weekend, so a game at Anfield will be lovely.

I’d go:

Alisson
Trent Konate Virgil Robbo
Elliott Fabinho Thiago
Salah Firmino Nunez

Love these Viking balls. I think we'll play the below, but really Darwin needs to be through the middle but I don't see Klopp having any other preferred options down the left since Jota & Diaz both got injured.

My preference would be to see Carvalho down the left, Darwin up top and Bobby as a super sub if required.

--------------Alisson-------------
Trent--Konate--VVD--Robbo
--------Fabinho--Thiago--------
Elliot----------------------Nunez
----------Salah---Bobby---------

The only variation I'd make is Milner for Elliott. As positive as Harvey has been this season he still doesn't quite offer the right level of protection for Trent, and I was really impressed with Milner against Napoli.

I know we're limited with options in attack but Bobby has played loads lately and has looked goosed last few games. Wouldn't be too keen on him starting again here.

I'd play Naby just so he gets injured, hopefully a season ending injury. I don't want his inclusion to come at the cost of stopping new transfers in Jan.

I'm wondering if pre world cup some players will be nervous about a challenge, especially vvd and Konate. Would consider Gomez and Philips but maybe I'm overthinking

Since the City game, Gomez has been nervous about any challenge.

Klopp suspended from being in the dugout for the game tomorrow and will be in the stands.
The FA get their wish after appealing the first punishment..

I dislike not being able to appeal against their appeal. Why bother having an independent panel if you're just going to ride roughshod over them

Yeah. Don't understand any complaints - Klopp even said he deserved the Red himself so what is the issue.

My complaint is with the fa deciding they can just ignore policies and procedures they've put in place.

If they gave him a ban initially, I wouldn't have an issue. To complete disagree and ignore what an independent body has decided smacks of an agenda to push
