Tommy Pilling has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool FC. The 17-year-old from St Helens has been at the Academy since the age of five. A talented midfielder, he operates well in tight spaces and can open games up with his passing ability.

He was a regular figure in Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18 squad last season and is set to take on an even more prominent role in the campaign ahead.

Northern Ireland Under-19s international Kieran Morrison has signed his first professional deal with Liverpool after starring for the Premier League club’s Under-18s this season.
The right wing, who started life in the centre of midfield but has gravitated onto the wing over the course of the season, has put pen to paper on his first full-time contract at Anfield after catching the eye for their underage sides.

Morrison has played up and down the age grades for ’Pool this year, featuring for their Under-21s in the Premier League 2, EFL Trophy and Premier League International Cup.

However, it is with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s Under-18s where the 17-year-old has dazzled, scoring 13 goals including two last week against Sunderland, while he has captained the side frequently over the course of the campaign.

Born in Manchester and a former Manchester United youth player, Morrison will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow Northern Ireland star Conor Bradley, who has firmly established himself in the Liverpool senior team this season with some stellar displays

Pilling?

Jeez there’s literally no plan B tonight!
Ekitike is our plan B.

Guess I was wrong @FreshRed, you and others called it. Nyoni gets the nod.
Still, think our midfield looks a bit thin. A lot of responsibility rests on Jones’s shoulders.

Thought the Flozmeister would of had a run out.
Me too, was almost sure of it. Big decision for Slot on Saturday. Gravy, Macca and Szobo will definitely start, but either Gakpo or Wirtz will have to sit down.

Got the team so now I hope all of my prediction is correct !

Have to think of the scorers now : Isak (2), Leoni & Danns !

Happy with that team, outside of Isak, and maybe the fullbacks, it's very much a second team. Full of people needing minutes. Ekitike probably an exception on the bench too.
