Suarez missing chances consistently is a problem for the team. It couldn't be any more obvious.

He scored 17 goals last year, and he was suspended for about 10 games. He'll score more than that this year too.

Our next best goalscorers scored 9 & 7 - and they were Craig Bellamy and Andy Carroll.

Like I said, Luis Suarez's chance conversion rate is not our problem. It's like Stephen Hawking thinking he can't get women cos of his receding hair line.

Seems like Brendan Rodgers has started where Kenny Dalglish left off, hoping that by picking Suarez he has a striker in the team. Suarez will score the odd goal, sometimes a great goal, but he isn't a striker. Like Kenny, Rodgers has decided that the place for our striker, Andy Carroll, is on the bench.

We aren't going to win many matches if we continue to assume that a goal will come from the likes of Suarez, Downing or Gerrard.

He's a forward and not a striker hence the reason why he scores in spurts rather than on a game to game basis.

I agree with Ross. Because hes the best of a bad bunch in front of goal doesnt make him good enough. He HAS to get better in front of goal.
When he has loads of time he is clinical and does amazing thing, that instinctive striker thing seems lacking though.
Youre right if everyone else scored shitloads it wouldnt be a problem, but that doesnt excuse him wasting gilt chances.
