Moses - we could do at lot worse than him as has been covered in his own thread. Strong, pacy, a goal threat, versatile and young. Not a world beater but great potential and grit - which we lack.

Eriksen - AskRyan.com

Alderweireld - Ajax looks dodgy defensively at times but he is by far their best central defender. Very athletic, agile and good physique. Not the tallest, neither the strongest, but he could develop into a very good defender. As Agger, likes to come forward and blast it at goal to some despair and now and then delight.

Will Hughes - Don't know him myself but seems to be highly rated on here

Viktor Fischer - Loan him back to Ajax for a Season and let him set the Prem alight in a few years

Still money left (perhaps if Skrtel, Borini or someone else are still to be sold) make a cheeky inquiry for Delph at Villa. They probably won't sell but he really looks the deal.

Squad settled for this Season and with two of the potential stars of years to come we have prepared ourselves for a storming future as well.

I don't miss Suarez already.

That would be awful. If Sturridge got injured for any length of time we'd be fucked.

There was an extra factor with Stevie though, Wizzy, namely that fact that he's Liverpool born and bred. If we'd sold him we wouldn't just have been selling a player, we'd have carved off a part of our soul.

As for not replacing Suarez with someone just as good - well, if it really is true that we've got more points in his absence, would that matter at this stage? IF we buy the right players with the fee we'd get, couldn't we actually get closer to 4th (which would attract the top players) in the end?

You are so bad at doing this.
Stupid fucker.

I'm not doing anything ... just saying the idea of wanting a player of his level out when the LIKELIHOOD of replacing him appropriately in time and not leaving us short of options is so LOW is ridiculous and only hurts the club.

Dreamy youre being a fucking bellend.
We dont want to keep the million page thread going. New link/new thread.
And youre fucking willingness to suck Suarez cock is embarrassing.
Hes a racist, bitey, cheating, divey twat and if that isnt bad enough he lied about the club and the manager and tried to engineer a move away through the press and being a cunt in training/at the club.

Our fucking standards are low.
Well YOURS are anyway. I want the money and this twat gone.
Well fair enough if I am regarding the new thread but I guess Ryan is too when he jumps on Khl every time he creates a new thread for a new link to Eriksen.
Anyway as for Suarez, yep 100% he has done some very poor things but as a Liverpool supporter I want what's best for the club and in my eyes I see him staying as just that. I've no issue with people wanting him gone I would just prefer at this late stage he stayed.
On purely a footballing point I'd suck his cock all day long as he's the best I've watched and enjoyed since Fowler.

Van persie last season 36 games/28 goals

If I had the time, I'd actually go back through their results and see how many games he singlehandedly won with a winning goal. I'd bank on it being about 12-15 games.

I think Suarez prob won us about 4 or 5 on his own.

Suarez is amazing but he's just short of RVP for me.

Yes, but how many brain fade defensive lapses did United's defenders? You seem not have taken that into account.

Like when we sold Torres for 50m and got Suarez for 23m?

because if Sturridge goes down, we'd be utterly fucked (unless Borini does what I still think he's capable of doing - i.e. little chance!)

I have no confidence we'll have the time to buy the right players now - and we cannot risk wasting a good start to the season to placate Suarez. He stays if we have no replacements lined up. If we do, fuck him off.

I have to agree with DB, this is obviously a load of shite.

Madrid only buy the best about

Point taken.

Moses can play up there can he? But yeah, it looks a bit slim on paper.

Ok, then we'd probably have to drop the Fischer idea and go all in for someone like Muriel instead? Fact is, it's a difficult one isn't it, as we are not going to buy someone who'll play instead of Sturridge?

Like when we sold Torres for 50m and got Suarez for 23m?

Remind me how we started last season with only one striker we trusted. That turned out really well for us.

We got extremely lucky in the Torres fiasco, but who was that other guy we signed with that money? Some Geordie lad.

And you think this bellend is 'WHATS BEST' for the club do you?
Wow.

Sheiky: point taken but I did say "if we got the right players with the fee". One of the players concerned would need to be another striker, and a good one. If this couldn't be done in time for the closing of the summer window, no deal should be done until the New Year.

Really? Haven't heard that in a while ... They'd have won the league without Van Persie last year, Chicharito is an incredible goalscorer imo.

I don't agree at all mate, he was the main reason they won that title.

Although we are agreed on little pea.

What a shit post.
Where have I suggested starting the season with just one striker?
Where have I suggested signing shite players?
I cant be fucked with this Wiz, youre being a dickhead.
My assertion (same im sure as Ryan, Liam, Ross and most other rational humans) is that IF we have earmarked replacements and can get them then sell. If the money goes to fsg then dont.
Counter to that YOURE assertion is dont play him when he comes back if we are winning but dont sell him.
The mind boggles.
Like I said I cant be arsed.

I started a thread last season wondering what the fuck happened to Jelavic and Cisse ... from unreal to fucking average.

One average season after being the best striker in Germany and then being ace for Newcastle. I think he's just pissed off up there.

Jelavic is a different story. Everton went from playing through balls to playing wide for crosses. That's not how he rolls.

I think getting in the top 4 this season is what's best for our long term future yes
Our fans are fucking tragic.
I honestly thought when the press were saying we'd u-turn if he stayed ALL of the fans would ridicule that.
But no. Some would rather he stayed.
Brilliant.

Jelavic was overrated. That's his level.

I'm not being a dickhead, but yes - any post you don't agree, 'shit' or 'rubbish' ...

I'll be quick and to the point - Your first post in the thread, 'Sell' ... then later you explain, "if we have replacements" ...

That's what most of us everyone - INCLUDING me (Sorry if you don't read my posts, but I guess I fall under 'rational humans' ... phew!) - says ... but I am not confident we can replace him in time (I think we can probably do it in Jan or June), and hence I'm against it this late in the window.

My assertion that his place in the 1st eleven isn't guaranteed is just because if we're onto something good, don't change it ... That doesn't mean he won't get into the 1st team as I don't believe we won't struggle the whole season. There's nothing wrong here - putting club over player (as that Kenny bloke said).

The mind does boggle.

Blah Blah Blah.

I don't remember him being highly rated in Germany (or not rated for that matter - though I think someone on our site said he'd be an excellent addition). That first half season with Newcastle was incredible - but why was he 'fucked off' for a whole season? Against West ham, no shots, no nothing ... He'd probably be an excellent signing for us - but would it hinder what we have going with Sturridge?
