All amazing post Brexit wonders in here so we can all discuss how lucky we are. Not until Mark Francois rings his substitute bell.

The devalued quid made exports more profitable. So that was good for my little biz. Shame for the country as the trade deficit with the EU is about 66 billion a year, so that cost the country an extra 10 billion, but I made an extra few quid so woohoo.

Great ! Go Brexit ! Although Francois doesn't get to ring his ding-a-ling till 11 so you're a bit premature there

Soz for my premature brexaculation, I'm just so excited. I think the biggest tangible benefit for me so far is that the whole toxic atmosphere outed all the closet racists in my local, to the point that we've completely fallen out and now I don't have to listen to them bore me with their stupid backward bullshit anymore.

And there's all this great stuff going on in London, making it a honey pot for all the biggest morons in the country, thus slightly improving everywhere else.

Ah look at them. All Brexcited and stuff. Notable absence of their carers though. Still, another £350m a week soon for all that type of stuff. Careers for carers ! Everybody can be carers! Or backwards morons who need them.

Let's all not forget we're starting our freedom with the biggest gift available at the moment under free trade agreements, CORONA!! I'll drink to that!!
Long live the Commonwealth.

**hopefully Corona will see off a good 50% of the over 65's and we can sort shit out in the next 5 years.

I registered my first biz in Amsterdam yesterday, good timing and all that. Here's to blending in with the scandos for the next five years. I just wanna be able to teleport in and out of Liverpool and swerve the rest of the country for a bit

One Step Beyond.

Fitting.

we have released the facists now..

last night 'celebrations' where nothing short of embarrassing

and the media have given them exposure and a platform.. Farage, widdicombe and the uneducated lot outside parliament

Truly I am ashamed to say I am English this morning... we look like dickheads to the rest of the world.. and that lot confirmed it..

Thing is ... Brexit its.. not even close to being done.. its just the start...

Speaking on behalf of the rest of the world, Brexit doesn't change how we view you.

The English have always been dickheads.

Haha. There is absolutely something in that. I mean, aside from the money, we can't have been great members of the club over the years. For as long as I can remember the UK has moaned about EU rules, which ones apply or don't apply to us etc. We have been sending people like Farage to their parliament for the last 20 years and our governments have always been happy to come back here and slag off the EU. You'd think they would be glad to see the back of us to be honest!

Nothing will change, no point getting worked up about something you can’t change.

the vigil in Brighton was embarrassing

Was Comrade Corbyn there?

Agreed, we're leaving a club we were never really part of.

Nonsense.

Leaving a club that the UK very much helped shape and develop and was a central part of.

The EU and single market has Churchill & Thatcher’s fingerprints all over it.

Yet even in Thatcher's days the UK must have been seen as a pain in the arse ('We want OUR money BACK' etc etc).

Arguably the real problems were after that though and were with the Maastricht Treaty. It was around then when euroscepticism really started to take off as it's own movement, with the start of UKIP, the Referendum Party etc and eurosceptics emerging on the centre right rather than just the fringes of the left. The growth of the EU in terms of powers and structures also rightly or wrongly gave UK governments a convenient body to blame for things, which was not really the case in the past.

The EU still hasn't had a look at itself to figure out why the criticism of its structure and some of its goals is justified, which is a shame. Its going to be a strange few years for everyone.

Yeah, Maastricht followed by the eastern expansion created much of the fuel that powered the desire to Brexit.

Yes, you're absolutely right and sadly for them I don't think they will. They seem happy to just believe that the UK is wrong and has made a mistake. They may be correct in that, we shall see. But I don't sense them asking themselves any questions.

If only we had voted to join it in the first place and had a say on the succeeding treaties that changed it from a common market to a proto-country with it's own flag, anthem and it's full integration stated aims etc, then it may have withstood the referendum and the three and a half years of trying to overturn a democratic vote. It didn't.

Truth is, it was never going to survive. That is not the Europeans fault, it is because the majority of British voters do not agree with it's lack of democratic accountability or it's one-size-fits-all policies. The EU is quite entitled to look after what it thinks is its own best interests just as the British are.

Whatever you think of the merits of the arguments on either side the democratic choice has been made and the union left legally.

No one thinks there needs to be questions asked about Russian interference?

I've observed the mass squabble of Brexit for about 4 years now and am happy to reveal my Simplistic Theory of Leavers and Remainers.

Leavers hate foreigners. Remainers hate leavers.

Everything else is noise.

Should solve the pension fund shortage issue.

I worked there as an underground croupier for a couple of years .. but that was 40 years ago ! Absolutely one of the best times of my life. So many great memories, and a couple of really sad ones too - the Mata Hari, a casino in the Red Light district, burning down and killing lots of people.

I still remember walking past the next day thinking I could easily have been working there .. it was so cold all of the trees at the side of the canal had the most gorgeous icicles hanging on them .. from the water used to try and douse the flames. Such incredible beauty amongst such tragedy.

On a happier note the girls and hash cakes were utterly brilliant back then - no such thing as AIDS !
