With all those days of rest I think Klopp would like to persist with a level of consistency. Van Dijk will replace Lovren and that's about it. No need to mix and tinker with the rest.

I would like to see Lallana given additional game time (wouldn't be surprised to see him start) given Swansea will likely park the bus a bit, at least at the start. Gomez has been good but TAA to provide some good attacking impetus.

Maybe the game time for the likes of Lallana, Hendo, Ings etc will come in the FA Cup after this game.

I don't think Salah, or Can will start - they both looked fucked on Sunday towards the end and reckon Klopp will give them a rest. I think Lallana needs a game to get him match sharp and there is nothing better than this game to get him going. No doubt the Swans will prepare a defensive lineup against us so we need more creative talent to support the front two so I think Ox, and Lallana need to actually play and start this game.

I'd also bring in either Hendo or Lallana for one or both of Gini and Can.

I am on the verge of giving up trying to predict Klopp’s lineups and tactics. Just when I start to think I understand the logic, he switches something up. Maybe it’s a good thing that fans can’t predict our managers’ decisions; this means the opposition managers are similarly left in the dark.

All that being said, I think Ox is undroppable after his last performance.

I've just read that 8.3m people in the UK are infected and expected to show symptoms and succumb as part of this flu epidemic. Could be a lot more to follow - could even see postponed games coming up.

Game is on Monday so hopefully back by then. Not sure if lack of training could be a factor though but then before his injury, he was pretty much a constant on the side.

I've had it for over a week and now developed a chest infection. Had all the usual flu symptoms last weekend and it's kicked off again today. Loads of people have got it in work, etc.
