what are the tax rates in England when you're in the 12m pound bracket? I am genuinely curious, because of his "housing is too expensive" comments, would appreciate any insight. In the US it would be ~35%.

Most players are avoiding that tax rate though by receiving large chunks of their payments as image rights paid to a company they own and then borrowing the money from the company.

About 100m a year in tax is avoided by the Premiership in this way
