I really like this idea, but I also think we need to accept that Fabinho will be a starting CB for the whole season so let's keep him learning and growing in the role.

We are desperate for goals so which one should he drop ? The leagues top scorer, our most potent attacking player or the guy who regularly misses the target from 5 yards out. Who'd be a manager with tough calls like that to make.

What happened when we dropped Salah against Palace? The attackers realised that no one is safe, played a blinder (and our back up scored), then Mo came on fired up and got 2 goals and a assist.

It isn't quite as simple as you think, otherwise we wouldn't be three games without any goals!

Also Salah is just as much to blame for the poor run of for.. he's missed a few or more chances. Lost the ball often and is the one who doesnt sacrifice for the team in other areas.

Not that I'm suggesting dropping Salah but its stupid to just say that Bobby is the problem.

It's odd that a gobsmacking result at Palace in which Minamino scored the 1st goal and genuinely looked the part, buzzing all over the pitch should then see him sitting on the bench during the next 4 games when we have barely created a chance.

Keita was also very prominent in that game and Firmino had his best game for us in ages.

All jokes aside its got to be Firmino that makes way, in both Shaq and Minamino we have players who can try to lift some of burden in terms of guile and creativity in the final third, thats nominally Firminos job and hes falling well short. We just dont have a viable alternative to Mane or Salah at least while Jota remains unavailable.

Im not saying I think Klopp will, hes infuriatingly loyal to underperforming players at times.

Scored 5 penalties and the whole team is designed to allow him( and Mane) to score bucket loads. He has been mostly shit for a month or so. Firmino and Mane have defensive responsibilities, Salah doesn't really. Firmino joins the link play.

Crystal Palace was with Taki working for Firmino and Salah on the bench.... its really not as simple as just dropping Firmino.
