Id be excited. I have to pay for my pt. He's getting paid millions for his.
At this point they may as well give him a balloon on some string to hold whilst he’s sat on the bench.
How many times during the season could Slot have subbed off Salah with 15-20 mins left in order to give Chiesa some minutes?
*Cough* Nunez *cough* better than Haaland *cough*I’m as frustrated as the next man he hasn’t seen more game time, but man…this seems to have really hit Modo hard.
Exactamundo!He couldn't... stat padding ... 😉
Yes, but what’s that got to do with Chiesa not getting minutes?*Cough* Nunez *cough* better than Haaland *cough*
Nothing, I'm just as rattled as you are that's allYes, but what’s that got to do with Chiesa not getting minutes?
What I don't like is Slot's excuse for not playing him.
Says that Chiesa's limited playtime is due to the team's packed schedule, which means that he can't train with the main squad.
That's the biggest load of shite I've ever heard. How will you ever catch up with that reasoning?
How many times during the season could Slot have subbed off Salah with 15-20 mins left in order to give Chiesa some minutes?
How many times has Slot not even used the 5th sub during the game?
I really don't like this stubborn, cuntish side of him at all and I'm happy Chiesa scored and made him look like a fool.
So let's see now, Chiesa will have had three weeks of training under his belt before the Everton game. Probably one or two behind closed doors friendlies.
What will Slot's next excuse be?
Yeah I heard that excuse and couldn't understand it at all. It's ridiculous. By that logic how can any player even come back from injury and be reintegrated?
He clearly just doesn't rate him at all.

Yeah but come on ... we've got Gakpo, Diaz, Nunez and Jota who can all play on the left. Clearly he was meant to back up Mo.He played on the left just as much as on the right in Italy. It's been very much the clubs decision to make him a Mo Salah understudy.
He was, but the point is Chiesa is experienced enough to have played LW if Slot wanted. In Italy he's largely regarded as a forward that can play both positions equally well as he's two-footed. When Gakpo & Jota are injured, Nunez is crap and Slot hasn't played him on the left all year, and Diaz has been rotating between positions and generally unproductive and inconsistent, it's been Slots choice to only use Chiesa (incredibly sparingly) in the RW role. It's all moot really because Slot also feels Chiesa has the body and fitness of a Darts player.

LIVERPOOL CONFIDENTIAL: The small group who made Liverpool Premier League champions-elect also contributed to coming up short in the Carabao Cup and Champions League.www.dailymail.co.uk
Well-placed sources have told Confidential that Chiesa is in better shape now than he has been for more than 12 months — and the short but sweet cameo at Wembley a fortnight ago only underlines that.
Confidential understands he spent the international break working hard with fitness drills after not being selected by Italy after boss Luciano Spalletti said his time in England was a ‘failure’. Chiesa’s dad, former player Enrico, countered this by saying he was happy at Liverpool.
There is no hiding from the fact this has been a bitterly disappointing campaign for Chiesa, who signed from Juventus in August and was billed internally as a great opportunity having been frozen out by the Italian giants.
Before the goal against Newcastle, it is fair to say Chiesa was fighting for his Anfield future already despite signing a four-year deal last summer — with fans at least. He had not made a tangible impact and one goal does not completely alter that outlook.
But it does start to change the story and, with nine games to go, the Italian should be looking to prove to Slot and Co he CAN impact this team now and in the future.
He turned down much more lucrative offers to join up with Slot. At just £10m, they knew this was a low-risk option for a player worth £75m just a few years ago. It is understood Juventus will, though, be owed a six-figure sum in add-ons should Liverpool win the Premier League this season.
There is no player more animated than Chiesa on the substitutes’ bench. He metaphorically kicks every ball and is often on his feet clapping and cheering. That has not gone unnoticed in the coaching staff — many players in his situation may be sulking.
Chiesa’s poor performance in the FA Cup exit to Plymouth set him back significantly in the manager’s eyes, reading through the lines of what Slot has said in the past, but that cameo in the Carabao Cup final surely has put him back in the good books.
With a goals per minute ratio better than Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota this season, he surely deserves to play some part in the title run-in this season.
Achieved what though? Maybe a League Cup. None of those players have proved themselves to be at the right level this season. Time will tell with Quansah, the rest are out the door.I’m a big fan of Slot and all that he’s achieved this year - but I’ll always believe that if he found a way to use Quansah, Endo, Harvey and Chiesa more, we could have achieved even more.
