The big surprise for me with Chiesa has been how strong he is, for someone who came to us labelled as finished, injury prone and lightweight, he's as strong as an ox and *touch wood* his availability has been pretty good for a long time now.

to be honest i thought he was done, he looked so tentative on the pitch at first. like he was petrified to pick up an injury but that all seems to have faded away. i really want to see some half decent minutes on the pitch now or what has all this conditioning and patience been for?

Just allow him to go from being an obscurity to be in contention for one of the first subs. That's all, and go from there.

"Slot, wouldn't mind me saying it, just doesn't seem like he trusts him(Chiesa). That's just a guess that I got because I know when they lost at Plymouth, Slot was furious with Chiesa. He was one of the senior players on that day and he just didn't seem to (perform), a few people have said how frustrated Slot was.

I just think what Chiesa has to do is, to prove to Arne Slot that he deserves a chance because if you lose in every game, you can't get a game. Then you sort of think that maybe he doesn't like him at all.

It seems to me like Chiesa could come off the bench and score every week. He still wouldn't play."
