Can any of the lads here who buy online get me up to date with the new ticket system please.

Tickets used to go on sale 22 days before the game but there was an advance sale for all games it seems.

I'm out of the loop big time.

Speaking of tickets, what are the odds of grabbing 2 tickets for the City game? Any spares potentially knocking around?

Hey back of Keni, don't derail my thread. I'm trying to sort tickets for either the City or QPR games for someone back home and the whole ticketing system changed. WTF.

*Waits for the count to ride into town and get me up to speed*

Basically tickets go on sale in two tranches.

The first release, which was for tickets up till the end of December was in July, the rest of the season premier match tickets from January 1st till May 2012 will go on sale some time in November.

In my innocence in July I assumed that tickets for pretty much all matches would be available for a few weeks at least after the first day of sale. However pretty much all match tickets were sold out on the day of release.

I am not sure why they changed the system as it is a whole day's work to get online to buy tickets now. Probably it just means that the club gets the money for ticket sales in the bank and earning interest early. I guess it could also be an insurance policy against a reoccurance of last season under Roy when tickets were going unsold.

Basically if you want to get tickets for any match from now on you have got to get your membership card, try to get online on the day of sale as early as possible and hope that the tickets for the match you want haven't sold out.

I think you're right count on the unsold ticket thing. I remember having tickets last year that I couldn't even give away.
Your'e welcome David.
PM me if I can give you a dig out, although you need to be well prepared these days.

On the plus side it should give posters going to drinkies a bit of time to get their shit together and organise tickets for the Stoke match.

Tickets are going back on sale wednesday.
Should be no problem D.
Do you need the login details or have you still got them?

BTW just tell them to ensure that they actually purchase the tickets and not spend too long faffing around looking for better alternate ones.
You can apparently lose the original ones if you take to long >🙁 🙁

I'll be doing the purchasing mate. I'm a pro at it at this stage. Many Thanks.

Really?

Which ones mate? 🙁

Two sorted thanks to the counts membership cards. Legend.

Online system is still head wrecking.

As said, no bother at all D.

There seems to have been lots of tickets in all stands released for every match up till the end of the year.
I thought that they were all sold out in July or is this just a second release?
