Thinks he owns the place

Some stories doing the rounds that he's walked out on Palace.
If true they'll be one of the teams going down imho.

He was going to have crisis talks apparently, the board weren't backing him. I'd be livid, absolutely livid, if I was a Palace fan.

A move for Manchester United's out-of-favour winger Wilfried Zaha is believed to have brought the situation to a head as Pulis wanted the youngster on loan.

Sources stated to ESPN FC earlier that the coach has been "fuming" after missing out on virtually all of his top targets -- most notably defender Steven Caulker, who joined QPR. Palace have only signed Frazier Campbell from Cardiff City, Brede Hangeland on a free, Blackpool's Chris Kettings and Martin Kelly from Liverpool so far.

Sounds to me he was looking for an excuse to get out. Odd timing but you could argue that he has never been held in higher regard as a manager and wants it stay that way for a bit.

His tactics tend to grate on his players after an initial period of success.

Must have wanted to go to the front of the queue for the first job that will open up in a few months.

Leicester certainly have cash to spend.

I called him the pound-for-pound best Manager in the Premier League here a year or two back when he was at Stoke and got laughed out of town for it.

Then he did that with Palace.

Now the joke's on yall.

His name isn't being mentioned. He would be a good choice for Palace, he's not a million miles from Pulis in terms of how his teams play. Would also been a good team for him to get back on the horse, low expectations and happy enough to hustle other teams.

Anyway talk of Lennon or Mackay being the front runners.

I dont get it?

Irrelevant. No top club is going to take him. He needs to get back on the train and see where it leads him.

Sorry but it's the above (and Roland's comment) that's irrelevant, Froggy. Bradley's point was that Palace is a major comedown on ManUre, and it is.

Sorry but it's not irrelevant at all, Froggy. Bradley's point was that Palace is a major comedown on ManUre, and it is.

True of course JJ. The whole point though is that no top team is going to touch him with yours, let alone theirs ! He'd better get used to the idea. Maybe he can go and manage Celtic (he could be a real winner then !) or the Scottish National team

I think we may be underestimating Martin Kelly's role in all this. Notice his quote about unbelievable club and unbelievable fans - no mention of the manager. I reckon he agreed to the move but only if Pulis would be edged out of the club.
