"Potentially a lot better"? That's a fucking huge statement to make.
It is and I'll stick by it.
He's developing at a much younger age and is going to be a prolific player no matter where he ends up playing most of his career. So the only reason he wouldnt be classed as significantly better is because he's classed as a different type of player.
De Bruyne is 28 and has 88 career goals... Haavertz is 20 and has 30... He's a phenom.

De bruyne isnt a goalscorer he's not there to score goals , it's a stupid comparison , not just because of that but also because he's arguably the best footballer in the league and has been for a while

It’s like saying any midfielder with more career goals than Zidane is better than him. Weird.

Not really...Haavertz does a lot of the stuff De Bruyne does too... he is just also quick enough and given license to finish moves. He's a phenom...

Bayern finally cut their losses on Renato Sanches. Bought for €35M rising to €80M, sold to Lille for just €25M. A cautionary tale about investing too early in a hyped-up potential. The funny thing is that he can still grow up to be a very good player – at 22 he's just at the age when most attacking players start to break through. It's just that Bayern didn't have patience to develop him properly once they realized that he's a lot more raw than originally promised.

Not sure if he is delusional but clearly Fiorentina are offering his first team opportunities this season.

He won't get anywhere near our first team this season - unless we have injury issues up front.

Brewster is obviously ahead of him and even he will struggle for consistent game time.

Reall ? He's going to beat Chiesa and Simeone to a first team spot?

They only just escaped relegation last season by the skin of their teeth.

Chiesa & Simeone had decent seasons but nothing to rave about - about 20 goals between in total them last season.

He wouldn't be a starter there but if your bench option is Kevin Mirallas ....

Anyways looks like Liverpool have put an end to the potential loan.
