germany splitting us apart with some of those alonso balls, yu can really tell the difference with that and the hofing technique, we're not playing bad though

No, not at all. England needs to stop with the long balls. Give the ball to Raheem.
was just typing that a goal was coming, i was right, we've gone quiet, raheem wont see much of the ball now either, hpe might get a goal from a distance, 4-1
Two nil, keeper flaps at a corner, shot from outside the box heading towards the corner before it hits about four players and ends in the back of the net. Keeper was still about 10 yards out.
Don't see a future for Smith at Liverpool. Seen enough of him to make up my mind now. His passing is just too poor. He's good going forward and supporting the winger.
Raheem has been switched to the left flank.
the more games ive seen at this level the more it looks like we're using the typical england techniques, our whole system needs a radical overhaul if we ever wana win anything

I'd love to see some young coaches come into the game.
English coaches just seem to swap places with each other, the lucky ones fail upwards(kidding). It's quite telling that the two of the most successful managers in English football today are Scottish.
Well, I guess that's it for the Raheem vs the world thread.
I think he did well, ended up being joint top scorer for England with two goals and probably England's most important player together with Chalobah.
Raheem needs to bulk up a bit. He's definitely not ready for the first team. He's got the ability but he's too small for the premiership.
A year of reserve team football will do him tons of good. Hopefully he'll end up being a Sterling footballer next season. 😉
